- Constantly explores business potential to accelerate Fashion NMV growth through updated trends & best practices.
- Collaborates with and supports other Commercial Category Managers / Heads & internal matrix teams in identifying opportunities to ensure that Fashion sellers are successfully represented across all product areas.
- Collaborates with the Associate Commercial Director to set the strategic direction and OKRs for Fashion and to achieve the target KPIs defined by senior management.
- Collaborates with the Marketing & revenue teams in the execution of revenue-generating initiatives with sellers in line with targets.
- Demonstrates the ability to use the quantitative and qualitative information available to them in order to make a rounded, well-informed decision.
- Works with Head of Business Development to set acquisition strategy for Fashion category. Looking at different data sets and trends to identify what is needed to improve assortment for the Zalora customer.
- Leads key strategic initiatives to drive Fashion growth.
- Uses available customer insights data to better understand the ZALORA customer; communicates with the customer insights team any additional information that would be of use to make trading/ buying decisions.
- Acts as the first, and central, point of contact for all Fashion enquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Clearly and accurately communicates company/ senior management messages to the team, seeking understanding from the team to ensure messages are actioned accordingly.
- Demonstrates professional courtesy by being timely and responsive to information required from internal business functions/ colleagues.
- Liaises and collaborates with regional Fashion colleagues to ensure that the ZALORA customer is presented with the best range of product relevant for the customer segment, end use and regional market to minimize cannibalization of product.
- Optimizes all shipment types as a distribution channel for sellers, with profitability, scalability, and regional viability as key focus points.
- A product, seller, and customer expert.
- Leads the process of market monitoring and identifying new Fashion trends.
- Clearly communicate Fashion highlights and key strengths to internal stakeholders to optimize key marketing actions.
- Establishes risks and opportunities in product/ brand portfolio within category.
- Uses available customer insights data to better understand the ZALORA customer; communicates with the customer insights team any additional information that would be of use to make trading/ buying decisions.
- Inventory management for outright, consignment / FBZ / distribution in general considering risks and healthy levels at any given point in time.
- Capable of forecasting orders and while considering timelines, expiration, trends, and the like.
- At least 5 years working in fashion, retail or e commerce industry.
- Previous leadership and management experience in a fast-paced industry is a must.
- Strong network of contacts in retail industry both domestically and internationally.
- Comfortable in working in an ambiguous environment and managing their own and direct reports time efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to achieve business objectives.
- Amenable to work in a hybrid work arrangement, at least once or twice a week onsite depending on business requirements.
- Amenable to report to our office in Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX).
