Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

- Post transactional accounting information to appropriate general ledger accounts
- Prepare statements, invoices, and moderately complex reports
- Issue and manage credits to accounts
- Process cash receipts and/or disbursements
- Communicate with customers to ensure prompt payments
- Prepare and maintain various reports
- Maintain accurate aging reports
- Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
- Interact with customers and internal team members to resolve issues
- Assume tasks and responsibilities of other accounting/office staff as needed
- 2+ years of applicable experience preferred
- Strong math and data entry skills
- Strong English written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Previous experience communicating with customers on timeliness of payments
- Experience with Google for Work (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite ERP's
- Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
