Position OverviewWe're looking to add an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to our growing Finance team! Working closely with our Controller, Senior Finance Managers and Accountants, you'll manage billing and revenue projects for TechnologyAdvice and other business entities. Our ideal candidate is someone who has an eye for detail, can work well under pressure, and ensures that all deadlines are met. Post transactional accounting information to appropriate general ledger accounts
Prepare statements, invoices, and moderately complex reports
Issue and manage credits to accounts
Process cash receipts and/or disbursements
Communicate with customers to ensure prompt payments
Prepare and maintain various reports
Maintain accurate aging reports
Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
Interact with customers and internal team members to resolve issues
Assume tasks and responsibilities of other accounting/office staff as needed

Who you are

2+ years of applicable experience preferred
Strong math and data entry skills
Strong English written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
Previous experience communicating with customers on timeliness of payments
Experience with Google for Work (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.)
Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite ERP's
Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
