It is essential.Why is the role important to us:As an HR Business Partner for Asia Pacific, you will have the opportunity to have a real impact in shaping the culture, success and results of a fantastic Technology enabled services company.You will be responsible for contributing to the talent and people agenda across the APAC region. We’re currently a headcount of 525 with expectations to be around 700 across the APAC region by the end of the year. We put great emphasis on these characteristics and expect all employees to demonstrate the desire to reach the same goals.The HR Business Partner will be a sparring partner for managers and employees primarily for our Commercial and Advisory Functions in Manila, Korea, Malaysia and Hong Kong on operational and tactical people matters in accordance with local policies and procedures, such as recruitment, exit, employee satisfaction, rewards, motivation, performance evaluation and management of local benefit structures. The People Business Partner cooperates closely with and support the Senior People Business Partner and will report into the Regional Business Partner Lead to ensure that the strategic agenda of People & Culture is fully understood and implemented across the APAC region.You will be part of the People Business Partner team which is a truly global team with team members across the globe, as part of the team you will have close collaboration with EMEA, North American and APAC People Business Partners as well as the People & Culture team in Manila.What you will be responsible forGeneral HRProvide guidance and sparring to managers on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.Support Senior People Business Partners and the Regional Business Partner Lead where appropriate, be involved in, disciplinary, capability and grievance investigations and meetings.Support and advise managers on less complex employee relation matters and organizational changes.Ensure HR Policies, procedures, and practices comply with local practice and applicable laws including updating and preparing local policies, processes, and best practices.Analyse trends and data to identify insights and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of People programs and processes.Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including recognition programs and work-life balance initiatives.Talent Management (Acquisition, Development & Retention)In partnership with our local People & Culture Consultant, execute local onboarding and off-boarding programs for managers and employees.Assist the Senior People Business Partner with employee retention initiatives such as employee engagement survey feedback sessions and initiatives.Performance Management & RewardsSupport managers in the annual performance review process, offering procedural guidance where needed and advising on best practice when setting high quality goalsBe sparring partner for managers in creation of annual development plans offering ongoing support where needed.Support leaders with the annual salary review process, collating and analysing reward data for global consolidation.Explain and guide managers in how pay and reward fits and supports overall people processes and activities such as performance management.t needs with respect to local legislation and practice.Analyse Rewards and Benefit programmes and identify opportunities and improvemenData AnalyticsCollect and analyze HR-related data from various sources including HRIS, performance management systems, recruitment platforms, and employee surveys.Develop and maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide insights into key workforce trends and metrics such as turnover, retention, performance, and diversity.Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify patterns, correlations, and root causes of HR issues or opportunities.Work closely with Sr. HR Business Partners and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for HR initiatives and projects.What we valueAbove all, your ability to thrive in and contribute to this role is paramount.
