- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for software applications using industry-standard automation frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, prioritize, and document test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in test planning, test strategy, and test estimation activities.
- Continuously enhance and maintain the automation test framework and test environment.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and advocate for automation best practices within the team.
- Collaborate with manual testers to ensure a comprehensive testing approach.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues, providing detailed bug reports with clear steps to reproduce.
- Work closely with developers to provide feedback on testability, design, and architecture to improve software quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new tools, and best practices related to test automation.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the QA process and participate in process enhancement initiatives.
