Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Accounting Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, government compliance, and tax filing. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and facilitating efficient tax filings.Responsibilities: * Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Government Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations, including but not limited to tax laws, labor laws, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Tax Filing: Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and improve internal controls.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including finance team members and management, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, government compliance, and tax filing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant government regulations and tax laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
