Nau mai ki te Kuratini Tuwhera.Mō te tūnga | About the roleWe are looking for a fixed term Customer Services Representative - Receptionist to add value to our Student Journey Centre. Our Customer Service Representatives play a vital first-point of contact for students and enquirers, and we are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our motivated team. This Customer Services Representative will work full-time from our campus in Lower Hutt and also cover our Reception desk from 8am to 9am as well as covering our main receptionist's breaks throughout the day.The ideal candidate will have proven customer services or call centre skills and experience. Alternatively, you might be a recent graduate looking to take your next step in a high-performing organisation. Full training is provided.This fixed term role until August 2025 to cover parental leave.The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong computer literacy skills, able to answer queries using a variety of channels including email, web chat and social media.
  • Effective listening skills, a great telephone manner and the ability to empathise with enquirers from a wide variety of backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
