About the Role
Work across a varied caseload doing things such as thorough head to toe assessments, triaging, plastering, a range of wound care and more. Demonstrate adaptability in working with a diverse patient population, and be open to receiving support and training in unfamiliar areas. This 24/7 clinic involves occasional night shifts, though none will be assigned during the training and orientation phase. Join forces with an experienced and committed team consisting of registered nurses, healthcare assistants, and Urgent Care Doctors.
  • Provide a high standard of nursing care to all patients,
  • Undertake duties such as wound care, dressings, triaging, plastering and more
  • Complete accurate documentation for each patient in a timely manner
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings and CPD opportunities
  • Establish strong and positive relationships with healthcare professionals, higher management and outside stakeholders
  • Work as a team to provide positive patient outcomes
Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience in NZ in acute care, primary healthcare or emergency nursing or a similar background is required
  • Hold a current APC and registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council
  • Be able to work well collaboratively with a team and also autonomously as needed
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
