Full Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seeking a confident junior - intermediate QS (3+ years in commercial projects) who is experienced with $2 - $5m+ commercial projects in NZ to become part of the cohesive and professional team within this well recognised regional commercial contractor. This new position has come about through growth and will see the successful candidate thriving in a project focused role working alongside a high performing commercial team with the ability to be totally hands on. You will be responsible for full contract administration duties, budget comparisons, tender analysis of sub-contractors, sub-contractor agreements, variations and preparation of budgets.You may also be required to:

Look to improve the business systems and efficiency to improve production.
Accurately set and measure all pricing.
Prepare registrations of interest, estimates and proposals for the Sales function of the business.

We would like to hear from you if you meet the following criteria:

A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
NZ experience in commercial contracts Quantity Surveying
Efficient organisational and planning skills with an eye for detail
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Solid computer skills
NZ Drivers license
