Futurebuild LVL has approximately 150 employees with a leadership team committed to the business's success and driving a performance-based environment.Your monthly tasks will be a mix of management and financial accounting; interpretation of financial information through a thorough understanding of cost accounting and analysis. Initially your challenge will be developing an understanding of our business, understanding the operations, various systems and processes and managing the month end process. You'll have the support of our corporate finance team as well as other Commercial Managers across our operational sites.Once you're up to speed there is ample opportunity to look for improvements which will have you working alongside your colleagues, actively contributing to problem solving, change management processes and ensuring the commercial visibility to assist the team in making sound business decisions to ultimately increase operational performance.It's envisaged you'll be an energetic, well rounded and strongly driven candidate; CA qualification is a preference however a work history that displays your career progression in a senior and commercial management accounting role will be highly valued. You'll be commercially savvy and skilled at understanding business drivers with the ability to communicate at all levels and influencing beneficial outcomes. Exposure to manufacturing is advantageous and strong analytical reporting and Excel skills are a given.This role will give you the scope to make it your own.
