Kia hiwa rā!Our Ngāi Tahu Holdings business unit has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor to support our internal audit and advisory services. This role involves delivering independent and objective assurance and advisory activities, enhancing the operations and internal controls within Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu group. You will play a key role in helping leaders fulfil their responsibilities in maintaining effective systems of internal control.Key Accountabilities - Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
  • Plan and execute internal audit engagements.
  • Monitor and ensure the resolution of findings and recommendations.
  • Undertake special projects, ad-hoc reviews, and provide advice as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication and engagement with business stakeholders and manage strategic relationships.
Attributes and Competencies - Ngā Pūmanawa me te Āheitanga
  • At least 7 years of relevant auditing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Strong skills in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/engagements simultaneously.
  • Certified Internal Auditor, Chartered Accountant, or other relevant certification.
  • Competent with data analytics and continuous auditing techniques.
  • Understanding of, or eagerness to learn Ngāi Tahu values and culture.
