The role will be a key partner to our leadership team while partnering with the Business Support team in the delivery of high-quality support services for Te Tumu Herenga.This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent opportunity.The salary range for this role is $68,600 - $84,700 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.For more detailed information on the role, please review theMō tō mātou rōpū | About the teamThis role is part of the Business Support team, which supports the division's operations by providing administration, facility and health and safety services. The team works collaboratively and flexibly with all Te Tumu Herenga teams across different sites.He kōrero mōu | About youYou will be a good communicator, organised, proactive and willing to learn. You enjoy being the go-to-person.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring high levels of customer service focus and excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience working in an EA or Office Manager role.
  • Comfortable working with people from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Knowledge or an interest in Te Ao Māori principles and how to embed those into your work.

  • Excellent proven relationship building skills.
  • Excellent communication including both written and verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of programmes including MS Teams.
  • An ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative to solve complex problems requiring judgment and accurate interpretation of established information.
  • Knowledge of Te Ao Māori and/or te reo Māori or a Pacific language would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of systems and processes at the University would be an advantage.
