Te Papa fosters and nurtures cross-cultural capability, the ability of people of different cultural backgrounds to interact with one another in positive and uplifting ways.Te Papa is seeking to employ a permanent Financial Reporting Analyst with a strong team approach to join our busy Finance team, where a difference can be made through what reporting outputs and insights are generated.We are looking for the right person to bring fresh ideas, as well as an open, flexible approach, and a strong drive for delivering excellent service. We have a strong commitment to continuous improvement and working closely with all our customers and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for everyone. Ideally, candidates will be able to hit the ground running and have a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others to achieve overall team goals and deadlines. We're willing to spend the time to support the right person if you're keen to come and work with us.Once you've got your feet under the table, we're also open to flexible working arrangementsApplicants will have:
  • A love for numbers and data, and the ability to turn raw datasets into meaningful and insightful information
  • A track record of providing outstanding support in a financial or data environment
  • A high level of experience and competency with Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to work with a wide range of people and to understand wide ranging business functions
  • A can-do approach and an open mind to working for the benefit of all
  • Excellent time management skills and experience in dealing with competing demands
Applications close on Sunday 26 May 2024.The starting salary for this position will be between $87,300 to $103,600 pa, with further room for progression through the band.
