This is a dual role where you will provide additional liaison duties to primary care/ age related facilities and supporting triage, whilst carrying out caseload based mental health care of older adults.As a Registered Nurse you will develop and implement safe, sound and supportive services that embrace the provision of integrated care both within the DHB and those providing care within the locality. You will have the opportunity to work alongside staff from AOD, NGO specialities and other specialist services to enhance service user’s experience.We are looking for Registered Nurses with a depth of relevant experience and strong nursing skills to provide consult liaison and education to non-mental health staff, and assessment and treatment of older adults. Experience and knowledge of mental health settings would be advantageous.If you have a genuine interest in continued excellence in patient care, then we want to hear from you!Essential:
  • NZ Registered Comprehensive or Psychiatric Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate to work in Mental Health
  • Minimum 2 years post registration experience in Mental Health
  • Extensive knowledge of mental illness and treatment interventions
  • Full & Current NZ Driver’s Licence
