Its goal is to ensure teams within subspecialty groups have a focus on equity, clinical quality, safety and health outcomes whilst delivering economic sustainability.Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityWe are currently seeking Dental Assistants to join our dynamic Dental Assistant team based at either Greenlane Clinical Centre or Middlemore Hospital.Our Dental Assistants work in a friendly team environment with great mentoring and support. You would be an integral part of the hospital based team that provides dental care in hospitals across Auckland. Working from clinics and operating theatres we provide our patients with a full range of dental services from oral surgery through to paediatric dentistry.Your role will encompass:· Chairside assisting in clinic· Chairside assisting in operating theatres· Following and adhering to infection and prevention control measures· Preparing instruments to be sent to the hospital Central Sterile Supplies Department for sterilisation· Working within a range of dental specialties at multiple locations· There will be opportunity for project work and continuing education.Department working hours are Monday – Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. You will possess experience working as a chairside dental assistant and have good understanding of the practical application of infection prevention and control procedures in dental practice.
