This role will join a team that helps to build an even stronger trans-Tasman dairy business with reach across Oceania and beyond.About the opportunityThe primary purpose of the Critical Risk Manager role is to provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and support to all Oceania operations in NZ to influence and drive the implementation of best practice standards, with an aim towards critical risk reduction. Supporting the development and implementation of the HSW related plans needed to mitigate risk in a consistent manner across all respective sites/teams.
  • Working with key stakeholders across the sites & warehouses to drive the implementation of HSW programs and initiatives.
  • Leading the NZ teams with the implementation of critical risk related initiatives as the HSW SME (i.e., Process Safety Management)
  • Providing HSW expertise and support for BU projects (i.e., Major Capital Projects) and working with the teams to implement the functional systems.
  • Leading the delivery of the Process Safety Management framework, as HSW SME, ensuring progression by stakeholders in accordance with annual plans, working with sites to develop MIRCs, etc.
  • Leading high potential (Sev. 3) event investigations relating to critical risk and supporting with other event investigations as requested.
About youWe are looking for individuals that have proven experience in a senior health, safety, and/or risk management role, preferably within a process manufacturing environment. You can also demonstrate:
  • a Bachelor of H&S or equivalent (Essential)
  • ICAM trained or equivalent incident investigation training (Essential)
  • 5+ years working in a transport/logistics operation and/or high-risk manufacturing environments/ FMCG
  • 3+ years delivering training to teams
  • Advances computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
