- Manage activity plans for residents across rest home and hospital levels of care.
- Plan, develop, and lead individualised activity plans for each resident based on the activity assessment outcome, their interests, and preferences.
- Ensure our valuable residents are treated with full respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to Bupa Health & Safety policies
- Maintain personal and professional development - we have on-site managers who always encourage our staff to up-skill!
- You'll have a NZQA (or equivalent) Diversional Therapy (level 4) Certificate (or working towards a DT qualification)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar healthcare setting is preferable.
- Be able to demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to motivate others.
- Have a creative flair to contribute towards a full and varied activities programme and help look after our residents while creating a caring atmosphere. An aptitude for music would be advantageous
- You are a caring, team player, vibrant, and energetic, with an active interest in organising activities for multiple levels of function and ability.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally, you'll have a clean, full driver's license.
