The RoleWork as a pick packer in a coldstore distribution centre in Palmerston North, Kelvin Grove. This role would be ongoing temp to permanent employment with positions starting asap.As a Pick Packer you will be responsible for:

Manually picking orders and preparing them for dispatch
Operating a pallet truck & pump trucks to move products around the warehouse
Eventually moving into forklift and/or reach truck positions once permanent employment is achieved

Requirements

Long-term interest in the logistics sector
Previous warehousing experience is advantageous but not necessary
Comfortable working in a chilled and frozen environment (p to minus 23 degrees. Full PPE provided for this cold environment)

Days and HoursOur client operates on a week-to-week roster where you will be required to work at least 1 weekend day.Hours: 6am - 3.30pm.Benefits
