MANAGER INTERNATIONAL SOURCING ( PASIR GUDANG )

• Manage, monitor and control the international strategic sourcing strategies to support company’s business needs and enhance the value chain of supply management.
• Design and implement an effective sourcing strategy to support company’s business needs and enhance the value chain of supply management.
• Monitor sourcing strategies and policies to ensure achievement of business objectives.
• Plan efficient sourcing and category management strategies to improve efficiency.
• Identify and establish relationship with international suppliers, subcontractors, and principals especially with proven track record with major clients for offshore windfarm (OWF), onshore modules and offshore projects to improve price competitiveness and adhere to project requirements.
• Identify and collaborate with potential key strategic alliance or principal suppliers to support company from early stage in bidding until the project execution phase.
• Develop new suppliers in various low-cost regions of world to improve price competitiveness and diverse supplier pool.
• Manage and execute procurement strategy for new bids by adopting appropriate sourcing methodology.
• Manage sourcing activities and propose costing for new bid proposal of materials, subcontracting and services to ensure submission on timely manner and meeting tender requirements.
• Identify competitive suppliers, support negotiations and final supplier selection with support from category leads.
• Analyse and identify buy-out bid proposal prior techno-com meeting with client.
• Manage and monitor the team’s budget and utilization to ensure the expenses are within the approved Budget.
• Manage and monitor the team’s performance measurement criteria/indicators based on industry best practices and benchmarking to ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage close relationship with relevant parties (e.g., Client, Business Development, Commercial, Project Management Team and other departments or sections within SCM Division, etc.) and vendors/contractors to facilitate smooth connection within parties to deliver the divisional objectives.
• To reduce procurement costs to support company projects and sustain the business in a highly competitive market especially in new business segment offshore windfarm (OWF) and onshore module project.
• To streamline and improve Supply Chain processes to achieve improvements in productivity, cost-effectiveness and performance level to support company's quest to be a leading organization of choice.
• To upgrade competency/capability level and initiate mind-set change among staff to meet company’s changing business requirements.

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Management, or other professional related qualification.
• 10 years in Supply Chain Management experience preferable in offshore windfarm (OWF) and / or onshore module projects​
• Type of Employment : Fixed term contract (12 months)
