- To increase overall sales through penetration of the corporate marketplace and booking agents.
- To ensure that the Company achieves its sales turnover on annual budget figures, developing campaigns and promotional plans in areas where sales are lagging.
- To work closely with the operating departments and with the other properties in the Company to maximise service opportunities and thereby increase revenues of the the Company
- To manage the completion of all RFPs / FIT/Tour Series contracts solicitations ensuring they are completed accurately and in line with budgeted guidelines with the Revenue Departments in the the Company.
- To monitor all brochure stock for Sales Department and keep a record of same at the the Company
- To develop an amicable and personable business relationship with clients, agencies and staff of the the Company.
- Conduct Telesales calls & Face to Face Meetings on a weekly basis.
- Develop an advertising and promotional plan which is effective in terms of cost and market penetration for the Company
- Plan and implement sales strategies for the the Company
- Profile and drive new clients and prospects for the the Company
- Achieve a high profile for yourself and the brand in the marketplace by regular client meeting and entertainment at the properties of the the Company
- To liaise closely with the Group Commercial Manager & Area General Manager regarding all sales activities of the current and potential future properties of the the Company
- To monitor the market and complete a competitors analysis frequently incorporating this into target setting the following year.
- To ensure that your appearance and attire are in accordance with accepted the Company standards.
- To possess the ability to work under pressure and within strict deadlines by fostering a strong sense of pro activity and result orientation.
- To possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for dealing and building personable relationships with internal and external guests
- To demonstrate professionalism and integrity at all times recognising that you are an ambassador for the the Company.
- Uniform: Allowance to be used for the purchase of suits in Black, Navy or Grey (Dresses & Suit Jacket, Skirt & Suit Jacket or Trousers & Suite Jack). White/Cream Blouse or Shirt. Formal uniform required.
