- Operate and oversee the drilling equipment, including drawworks, mud pumps, and drilling systems, to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
- Monitor drilling parameters, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot issues to optimize drilling performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a strong focus on safety in all drilling activities.
- Collaborate closely with the drilling team, including assistant drillers, derrickhands, and roughnecks, to ensure smooth and efficient rig operations.
- Complete daily drilling reports and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and safety incidents.
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior members of the drilling team.
- Proven experience as a Driller in the oil and gas industry with a specific focus on deep drilling operations.
- Experience operating and maintaining 3000 HP drilling equipment.
- with no less than 15 years experience (local & overseas).
- A strong commitment to safety and the ability to lead by example in this regard.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the drilling team.
- Mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of drilling equipment.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding and remote onshore environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid well control (preferred).
