Position Overview : As a University Content Executive at Teamlease Edtech, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality academic content tailored to the needs of higher education institutions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the seamless creation and delivery of educational materials. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the learning journey of students and educators across diverse disciplines. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Development: Research, design, and develop academic content for various courses and programs offered by partner universities. Collaborate with subject matter experts, professors, and instructional designers to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with curriculum objectives. Create engaging learning materials, including textbooks, study guides, presentations, and multimedia resources, leveraging innovative pedagogical approaches and instructional design principles. 2. Vendor Management: Identify, onboard, and manage external vendors, including content developers, editors, graphic designers, and multimedia specialists. Define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with vendors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and contractual agreements. Establish strong relationships with vendors, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment to achieve project goals effectively. 3. Invoice Management: Review and process invoices from vendors, verifying accuracy and compliance with contractual terms and budgetary constraints. Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to track expenses, reconcile invoices, and maintain accurate records of project-related costs. Address any discrepancies or billing issues promptly, ensuring timely payment to vendors and adherence to financial protocols. 4. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks and reviews of content deliverables, ensuring adherence to editorial guidelines, style standards, and regulatory requirements. Solicit feedback from stakeholders, incorporate revisions as needed, and continuously strive for improvement in content quality and relevance. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including academic experts, product development, marketing, and sales, to support the integration of content into educational products and platforms. Participate in cross-functional meetings, contribute insights and recommendations, and champion best practices in content development and delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Literature, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in academic content development, preferably in the higher education sector. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in grammar and style. Familiarity with vendor management processes, contract negotiation, and invoice processing. Proficiency in content authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
