This advice covers finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security and property. Technology delivers the Group's information technology and banking operations functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation. Technology partners with all areas of CommBank, including Financial Services to provide specialist advice on financial management and strategy. This advice covers finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security, general procurement and property. Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial management services to the Technology Business Unit. We work closely with Technology customers to help them understand their technology costs and delivery of current and future strategic and financial plans, and drive transformation activities. The Centre of Excellence team has been established to improve the team's value proposition via uplifting the standard and business outcome for core finance processes through driving digitization and automation. Impact & Contribution You will be part of the Finance Centre of Excellence capability in Technology Finance. As a Business Partner supporting the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO), you will be contributing to the business priorities by providing insight and supporting stakeholders with financial outcomes related to expense management and commercials of Technology. Your Primary Roles Is To Support the Retail Bank investment portfolios and where required for Run BAU expenses Provide insights, analysis and advice in relation to past and future financial performance Provide robust financial control and effective management reporting Provide decision support and reporting for Technology strategic initiatives and investment programs. Develop and deliver meaningful insights to drive better business outcomes and provide commercial support, including cost optimisation and simplification. Provide guidance and advice to the business leaders on the financial performance of the business, the financial plans and forecasts and the financial impacts of change initiatives Roles & Responsibilities This role is responsible for regular deliverables including actuals, budget and forecast reporting for opex and investment programmes/projects Financial Control responsibilities including journal preparation, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews and FTE reporting Responsible for assisting in the delivery of the annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecast processes. The role has strong stakeholder relationships within Technology, BU Finance and the CDAO extended leadership team. Reporting and analytics to facilitate decision making. Review, analyse and constructively challenge the monthly project & BAU spend with a view to understanding the status of each project, including milestones, risks, issues, financial status (actuals, forecasts, budgets), and progress made each month. Build and maintain relationships and trust with the project community and application management team to facilitate access to information and provide a contact point back for value added advice to the assigned programme/project teams. Engage in continuous improvement activities to streamline, simplify, automate and assist in the implementation of new reporting tools. Essential Skills Qualified CA / CPA/ MBA Finance 5+ years' experience in finance and accounting industry Strong analytical skills with proven experience in budgeting and forecasting Strong stakeholder management, communication skills and demonstrated experience of business partnering. Experience in a Finance Centre of Excellence team with strong track record in driving automation and implementation of reporting tools Strong understanding of Technology Business Management, gained in either a similar role and/or an IT Finance or IT Business Manager role.
