- Leads Global REFM+CS category sourcing team of contract and commercial negotiators responsible for all needs specific to category sourcing. Acts as a Global interface to support and manages escalations for REFM +CS category along with providing support and direction to Professional services category Directors to effectively manage spend under management.
- Plays a key role in implementation of the sourcing strategy, policies and processes that are supported from the region with end-to-end responsibility for its delivery. Ensures sourcing methodologies are in alignment with the global/regional strategy of the organization.
- Responsible for the holistic commercial strategy for key negotiations of category of spend - including demand assessment, deal negotiations and implementation planning in partnership with the business.
- Maintains broad knowledge of Real Estate, Facility Management & Corporate Services Category and sourcing needs specific to different regions and serves as the sourcing point of contact.
- When needed, will lead the development of standard commodity savings metrics and supplier consolidation and cost reduction policies/ strategies based on recommendations from category owners.
- Maintains superior and strong relationships with global business leaders and senior stakeholders, to ensure Category specific sourcing needs are met and managed in accordance with global sourcing policies.
- Works closely with the Regional Head of Contracting and sourcing India/APAC, along with global category leads to develop sourcing strategy and manage sourcing activities. Takes ownership of and is responsible to delivery commercial value while enabling a seamless experience for internal customers and vendor partners.
- Must have 10+ years in depth Sourcing knowledge and experience in in REFM+CS and Professional services -IT and Management consulting categories with demonstrated work experience in managing complex projects and end to end execution.
- Must have strong experience in managing contract life cycle management process from Initial RFX planning ,negotiation, contract drafting, negotiations and strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to assess complex contractual issues. Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory framework related to contracts.
- Must have in-depth knowledge on Third party Risk assessment and management to identify and mitigate potential risk and liabilities associated with thirty party contracts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with team members across various departments within and outside Enterprise Sourcing office to achieve common goals.
- Provide leadership based on experience and skills including Process trainings, creating best practice templates for the teams to ensure the consistency in the process knowledge.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
- Build Strong relationships with team members, fostering a sense of belonging , trust and loyalty.
- Monitor team morale and engagement levels, proactively addressing any issues or concerns.
- Ability to lead by example and embody the values and culture of the organization
- Experience in providing leadership support across multiple time zones with strong understanding of Global Operations and timely communication
- A successful candidate would be required to play the role of a change catalyst to drive efficiency and maximized commercial value while balancing global processes and local requirements/nuances.
- 18+ years of total work experience, with 7+ years of management experience, preferred. Demonstrated experience managing and leading large, complex projects, extensive knowledge and understanding of global procurement and sourcing processes and practices preferred. Demonstrated experience negotiating successful results, managing global spend preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
