- You will support the existing team and actively help to expand the functionality and continuously improve the platform.
- You will be at the forefront of transforming our applications, moving processes to the cloud and towards a different technology stack.
- You help refining existing implementation standards in the scope of your applications, modernize our application in collaboration with other experienced colleagues and also improve the general stability of the product.
- You find new ways to work more efficiently and support the introduction of productivity-increasing measures, leaner processes, efficient tools and generally also automation, e.g. in the form of continuous delivery.
- You take take part in developing and operating your Team's application and are ready to take on the mantle of an operator if something goes wrong or it's simply your turn.
- Conversely, you also make it your task to constantly develop yourself further and are open to more modern approaches to data integration/processing.
- You get stories / requirements and develop those according to the standards your team sets out in a self-reliant manner.
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or a related field.
- Knowledge in the implementation of data warehouses and datamarts in relational databases as well as the data pipelines for the transfer and transformation of data (in particular Oracle database, PL/SQL and Informatica).
- Strong fundamentals in data modelling (especially Immon + Kimball)
- Strong willingness to familiarize yourself with Cloud technologies and object oriented programming languages
- Knowledge in automation tests for the creation of ETL pipelines
- Understanding the implementation of typical architecture patterns and code conventions or other best practices
- Understanding ITIL processes in a DevOps context
- Knowledge of related fields like statistics and/or reporting preferred
- Good communication and experience in working with distributed teams (especially Germany + India)
