Global Service Centers Our Global Service Centers are an integral part of Global Operations. Employees based there manage day-to-day customer transactions and processes for the global businesses. This may include transactions for our retail bank such as processing loans, credit cards, insurance and mortgage applications, opening new accounts, and managing customer enquiries through contact centers and digital platforms. Employees in the Global Service Centers also run and manage operations for commercial bank customers. This includes processing credit applications, facilitating payments and managing the import and export transactions that enable customers to protect and grow their businesses through international trade. The Opportunity: Purpose of Department The main purpose of this role is to assist the Manager with championing internal monitoring initiatives regarding adherence to credit policies and new regulatory mandates/requirements. There may also be occasions to assist in the review of critical data contained in credit applications ensuring legitimacy and accuracy, maintaining the highest standard so that MI and downstream uses of the data is a true representation of the Wholesale portfolio(s). The role will undertake the review of business as usual transactions and reports to ensure proper reflection of policy requirements.The role will also require to keep up to date on any subsequent policy updates/edit.In addition, oversee business as usual processes to review, monitor, report and, where applicable correct, deficiencies or breaches. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role 'Manager - Information Management, GSC's'. In this role, you will: What you'll do: The role holder[s] will have the following broad responsibilities: - Ensure appropriate payment, invoicing, billing and, where appropriate, reimbursement of expenses related to Environmental, Appraisal and Collateral Examinations, inclusive of proper monthly reconciliation of related accounts and customers. Completes more complex processing and/or accounting-related duties in support of assigned area. Resolve issues as required and refer those of a more complex nature to higher levels. Completes more complex operational duties within an assigned area of the Company, ensuring timely completion and compliance with established internal standards and external regulations Process accounts payable and general ledger entries in support of expense processing. Reconcile and balance accounts, verify accuracy of computation and resolve discrepancies. Creates and distributes correspondence communicate status, obtain approvals and address or administer varying inquiries Deliver a high quality output within SLAs Participate in the CoE & local SD management activities Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Qualifications Skills/Experience Required Finance / Accounting / Business / Economics Graduate looking for a career in Risk / Banking 2 - 4 years proven operational and accounting experience or equivalent 1-3 years of relevant credit and risk management knowledge / experience preferable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to work accurately/thoroughly and independently within tight timescales Experience in reconciliation, processing of accounts payable and general ledger entries Proven organizational, planning, analytical, customer service and communication skills Detail orientated self-starter with proven ability to work independently Task and goal orientated, commercially minded, customer and results focused Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages Additional Information All applicants must have successfully completed their probation period. Employees must meet performance and behavioral standards as defined in the policy All L7 & L8 applicants should have served at least12 months and should have successfully completed respective learning curve tenure, in their current role as on closing date. Applicant should not be on a corrective action plan/ disciplinary action in the last 6 months or any other performance action as on the date of application.
