Candidate should be prepared to stretch and extend beyond normal working hours/days as ‘call of duty’ as and when requiredArea of OperationsKey ResponsibilityIT INFRA AND APPLICATION1.Manage internal and external audit activities, including operational audits and other IT controls2.Compliance of monthly reports within IT3.Stay updated on the current generally accepted auditing standards and best practices, and advise on applicability in our environment4.Demonstrate initiative by proactively reviewing/assessing audit observations and procedures and recommend improvements5.Supervisory responsibilities included in the role while collaborating with different teams6.Proactively review IT implementation plans (both new installs and upgrades to existing systems) to insure the teams are compliant with all internal and external audits/controls7.Foster a strong working relationship with internal and external audit and teams within IT8.Co-ordinate routine audits of company policies and procedures9.Implement policies as needed to comply with audit observations10. Handle technical exceptions in policies and procedures11. Implement effective improvements as needed to systems and practices to manage the overall compliance12. Work collaboratively with other teams in IT to effectively plan and execute audits where required13. Ensure that all internal monthly and quarterly update reports14. Responsible for making sure that audit results are effectively and timely communicated to senior management, external auditors15. Confirm timing of audits with management and different teams within IT16.
