Apply Now.The PositionThe primary role of this position is to be responsible for overall performance of the Medical & Scientific Affairs (MSA) Regions team within Regions & Operations (R&O), including timely planning and proper execution of projects and deliverables to achieve shared business objectives and drive team's success.
  • People management: Leading and managing a team of medical & scientific advisors and contribute towards achieving the R&O and GMA-GBS goals and strategic priorities.
  • Stakeholder management: establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.
  • R&O activities: Establish a strategic partnership within GMA-GBS and with medical affairs teams outside of GMA-GBS.
  • Foster collaboration across Medical affairs world wide.
Qualifications
  • Should be a Science/Pharmacy post-graduate with PhD (preferable) and/or MD/ MBBS degree.
  • Should have around 5 years of relevant work experience. Affiliate (back office and/or field) experience preferred.
  • At least 4 years of people management experience.
  • Additional education and experience in pharma business/marketing.
  • Willingness to coach colleagues and support team development.
  • Teamwork skills, ability to get results through others and to work in a highly motivated team.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with people with different backgrounds (science, business, etc.).
About the DepartmentGlobal Medical Affairs, GBS (GMA GBS) is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs team in Headquarters (HQ) in Denmark and Zurich, based out of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated medical advisors, project managers, scientific advisors and publication managers working together with HQ, regions, and affiliates across the world.
