Job Overview The candidate is expected to manage local Procurement, Coordinate with vendors and internal and external stakeholders, and effectively implement the ERP for procurement. Candidate should possess a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards ERP development and enhancement. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop procurement strategies and plans based on project requirements and budgetary constraints. Accurate and timely management of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Prepare and Maintain reports for ISO. Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and maintain an active vendor database. Process invoices and effectively coordinate with the accounts team to ensure timely payment to vendors Act as a key liaison between the purchase department and the IT vendor for ERP development and implementation. KEY AUTHORITIES 1. Responsibility for vendor evaluation and selection based on performance criteria. 2. To negotiate terms and prices with vendors. 3. To issue purchase orders within defined limits. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles. Technical / Functional Competencies Vendor Management: The skill of managing relationships with external vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery. Technology Proficiency : The ability to use and adapt to various technologies and software tools relevant to administrative tasks, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the role. Customer Service Orientation: Focusing on meeting the needs and expectations of customers, whether internal or external, to ensure satisfaction build positive relationships, and Improve customer service orientation gradually. Organisational Skills: The ability to efficiently arrange tasks, manage priorities, and maintain order in work processes to enhance productivity. Improves task prioritization and organization.
