As the Compliance & Ethics Analyst for India, you will be responsible for the following functions:Support Functions
- Responsible for administrative support to India Compliance Director
- Provide guidance to Oracle's internal departments including sales, operations, procurement, alliance and channels on ethics, business conduct and compliance matters in India
- Assist in contacts with compliance key team members (HR, A&C and Other LOBs)
- Assist in supervising and implementing compliance policies and business practices
- Maintain working relations across LOBs.
- Generate a quarterly Global Compliance Report (“GCR”) that reflects compliance matters reported, in progress and closed in each quarter in a form suitable for presentation to senior management and the Finance & Audit (“F&A”) Committee
- Prepare system analytics and reporting for senior management on Management Action Plans (MAP) arising from compliance investigations. Collaborate and meet with key team members as required to ensure agreed actions are carried out. Track progress of each (MAP) and enter all updates in EthicsPoint up to its closure
- Undertake initial reviews under the global compliance approvals process for business courtesies, conflicts of interest, and other compliance approvals, and respond to requests for approvals as appropriate
- Maintain records of approval requests for marketing events, sponsorships, meetings, business courtesies and entertainment, disclosure of conflicts of interest and external engagements in the region
- Assist in accomplishing Compliance and Ethics Program goals by accepting new responsibilities from time to time, and by exploring opportunities to contribute to the organization.
- Preparing program content for live training curriculum and handling scheduling in consultation with the team
- Preparing communications to employees in India concerning Oracle's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related policies and procedures as well as new developments in law or regulation pertaining to compliance, under the supervision of the C&E counsel
- Coordinate with internal investigations team as appropriate and assist in carrying out the functions of C&E counsel in the investigation process and remedial measures
- Reviewing Oracle partner requests and helping ensure a selection of Oracle distribution partners that are committed to ethical business conduct

- Undergraduate legal degree
- 4+ years of legal experience, preferably in a combination of global law firm and in-house environments. Experience in the high technology industry as well as previous experience in compliance preferred
- 2-3+ years Investigation/Forensic Audit/Compliance experience is preferred
- Prior experience with/knowledge of Compliance & Ethics investigations, FCPA and UK Bribery Act is desirable
- Basic interviewing skills are desirable

- Superior written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate and influence optimally at all levels of the organization

- Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
