In this role you will be reporting to Local Product Group Manager. You will be responsible for Creating and modifying the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, for assignments classified as low to medium complexity, using standard design concepts.Your responsibilities

Designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contractual specification.
Creating or reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and plans required by manufacturing, fabrication, or construction.
Contributing to design reviews and design verification, modifies design, as necessary.
AutoCAD and other design software for designing of traction motors would be require. Adept or equivalent software for designing of motors would be added advantage.
Contributing to preparation of specific aspects of de-sign assignments to meet the contractual obligations, while adhering to relevant standards, safety, and quality.
Participating in project meetings and presents specific aspects of design assignments.
Actively contributes and shares experiences in workshops pertaining to engineering de-sign, tools, and processes
Sharing best practices Lessons-Learned documentation across different projects
Uses standard processes and tools, assists in developing new processes and tools for reuse of technical solutions

Your background

B.E – Electrical from reputed institute
Minimum 7-8 years of design experience preferably in traction motor or any motor industry.
