Job Description Summary: At PayPal, we are on a mission to revolutionize commerce, and we're currently seeking a Sales Manager for PayPal Pay Later to join our Enterprise Sales Team. In this role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the UK Enterprise Sales Team to secure acceptance of our Pay Later solutions. Your key focus will be to enhance PayPal's relevance across enterprise merchant customer bases through cross-selling PayPal Credit and PayPal Pay in 3, Buy Now Pay Later solutions. Job Description: Meet The Team Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Sales, you will be joining a team of 3 Pay Later SME's.Using domain knowledge and expertise, you will partner with the Account Executive team which consists of 7 team members responsible for driving incremental sales through existing merchant relationships, and the Enterprise Sales Rep teams which consist of 16 team members responsible for driving incremental transaction margin through net new relationships and our existing back book. Your Way to Impact In this role, you will collaborate closely with Enterprise Sales, Customer Success Management, and cross-functional experts, assuming ownership of the Pay Later sales process. Working in partnership with the Global Consumer Credit and Global Pay Later teams, you will ensure that Pay Later presentment aligns with the requirements of internal stakeholders, regulatory standards, and best practices for consumer proposition optimization. Success in this role will be measured by quota attainment. Your day-to-day Sell PayPal's Pay Later solutions to a targeted prospect list to achieve annual incremental transaction margin targets, including upselling to existing merchants and internal referrals. Collaborate with Enterprise Sales teams in the early sales phase to drive Credit and BNPL sales efforts and develop a pipeline of opportunities for upselling and cross-selling PayPal Credit and BNPL solutions. Build and nurture influential partnerships with key stakeholders, acting as a liaison between Enterprise Sales and Global Consumer Credit and Pay Later teams. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Consumer Credit and Buy Now Pay Later regulations, competitive landscape, and industry trends to support sales effectiveness. Leverage project management skills to handle multiple projects, drive process improvements, and manage scope, schedule, and resources internally and externally. Play a pivotal role in supporting merchant testing during the launch phase to ensure optimal consumer proposition alignment with stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and best practices. What you need to succeed Proven experience in direct sales, targeting Medium, Large, and Enterprise-level companies with Consumer Credit and/or Buy Now Pay Later solutions. Experience in presenting and negotiating with C-Suite executives and other levels. Ability to build rapport in meetings and showcase PayPal's value proposition as a trusted advisor. Negotiate favorable commercial terms, contracts, and agreements to create sustainable value for all parties. Demonstrated consultative sales skills and the ability to thrive in a matrix environment and collaborate across multiple teams and influence stakeholders at all levels to close sales. Effective management of a sales pipeline and strong organizational skills within a defined sales process. Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
