Material & Corrosion Engineer

• Provide material selection and corrosion management review as a consultant in materials ensuring cost effective material selection and corrosion mitigation strategies which will ensure technical integrity of the materials.
• To function as Material and Corrosion Engineer in Green field and Brown Field jobs in upstream and Downstream production through their life cycle.
• Support the development, review & update standards and specifications as required.
• Verify contractor’s materials selection reports.
• Actively train inhouse Piping Material Engineers •Support a cost-effective material selection in engineering projects during the design phase.
• Provide support in the Select and Define phases in the delivery of brownfield and Greenfield projects.
• Support evaluation and application of new technology in order to optimize future developments in terms of cost and operability.
