Our client aims to solve for improving access, increasing affordability, providing good quality content & pedagogy and enhanced outcomes for the student/learner community in the higher education space by leveraging technology.The Job :Your responsibilities will include :Lead Generation and Prospecting : - Identify and qualify potential leads through research, cold calling, and other prospecting methods. - Collaborate with marketing teams to follow up on inbound leads and inquiries.Product Knowledge : - Develop a comprehensive understanding of the EdTech products and services offered by the company. - Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and unique selling points of the products to potential customers.Customer Engagement : - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. - Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of the EdTech solutions.Sales Pitch and Consultative Selling : - Tailor sales pitches to address the specific needs and challenges of educational institutions and individual educators. - Employ consultative selling techniques to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.Sales Quotas and Targets : - Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and targets. - Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the sales management team.CRM Management : - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. - Utilize CRM data to analyze sales trends, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.Market Research : - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments. - Use market insights to refine sales strategies and positioning.Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.Professional Development : - Stay abreast of advancements in EdTech and continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through training and self-directed learning.Ideal Candidate :- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.- Proven inside sales experience, only from EdTech industry.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Enthusiasm for education and a genuine interest in the impact of technology on learning.
