Roles and Responsibilities: The role is to be a hands-on engineer to set up and manage messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Redis, etc.. The engineer will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, scaling, and maintenance of Apache Kafka and other messaging products. They will ensure that monitoring is in place for the early detection of issues and that systems are resilient and have the capacity to deal with changing demands. Work along with other engineers and collaborate in setting up the products in the ecosystem. Demonstrated ability to deploy messaging products in the GCP, AWS Analyze and resolve issues in production environments Must Have Skills: Overall 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 4+ years of experience in performing Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Redis Installations, Setup, and Topic creation Understanding of High Availability Cluster solutions, Load balancers, TCP/IP Networks. Experience with SDLC and Github/Gitlab. Experience with ansible , shell scripting and Python. Ability to work effectively with a globally distributed team while able to operate independently. Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down and communicate complex issues, ideas, and solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good to have: Experience in integrating and debugging GCP cloud solutions Experience with agile development, Jira & Git, git-flow Experience with automation to deploy messaging platforms. Education: BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience Location: Bangalore
