Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Site Reliability Engineering Lead As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of DevOps practices, processes, and tools within the organization. You will work closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to drive collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be on establishing and optimizing the software delivery pipeline, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of infrastructure and applications, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Responsibilities . DevOps Strategy and Planning: . Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with the organization%27s goals and objectives. . Define roadmaps and timelines for implementing DevOps practices, processes, and tools. . Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of DevOps initiatives. . Team Leadership and Mentorship: . Lead and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise. . Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning. . Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. . Infrastructure Automation and Management: . Architect, design, and implement infrastructure automation solutions using tools like Terraform. . Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. . Ensure infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. . Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): . Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. . Implement best practices for version control, branching strategies, and release management. . Monitor and optimize CI/CD workflows to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time. . Monitoring and Observability: . Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure. . Utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk for monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting. . Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to prevent incidents. . Security and Compliance: . Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure and applications. . Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. . Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing. . Collaboration and Communication: . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, QA, and product management to ensure alignment and coordination. . Communicate DevOps initiatives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership. . Provide technical guidance and support to teams and individuals. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications . Bachelor&rsquos degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). . Relevant years of Extensive experience in software development, systems administration, or DevOps engineering roles. . Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and mentoring teams. . Expertise in infrastructure automation, cloud computing, and containerization technologies. . Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as .Net, Python, Shell scripting . Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and release management practices. . Experience with monitoring and observability tools for troubleshooting and performance optimization. . Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements. . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. . Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills . Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or others related to DevOps practices and technologies are highly desirable. .
