Responsibilities :- Identify and research potential clients, projects, and markets within the construction industry.- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and government agencies.- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted strategies and materials to support business development efforts.- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favourable and align with company objectives.- Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitors to identify new opportunities and potential risks.- Track and report on business development activities, including sales forecasts, pipeline development, and performance metrics.Qualifications :- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the construction industry.- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.- Willingness to travel as needed.Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.- Professional certifications in sales or business development.- Experience working with government contracts or public sector clients.- Knowledge of construction project management software.
