Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and talented PR Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for communications, a strong understanding of media relations, and the ability to think creatively to develop and execute successful PR campaigns. Job Responsibilities: Client Communication and Strategy: 1. The candidate will serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients and will be responsible for day-to-day account management and PR execution in accordance with defined SoWs and plans outlined in respective mandates 2. The candidate will provide strategic counsel to clients on PR best practices, industry trends, and opportunities for media engagement. Media Relations: 1. The candidate is expected to have a strong relationship with journalists, bloggers, and influencers across various media channels. 2. Pitch stories and secure media coverage in targeted outlets, including print, broadcast, online, and social media. 3. Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges for clients. Content Development: 1. Write and edit compelling press releases, media pitches, articles, and other PR materials. 2. Develop content calendars and creative assets for PR campaigns, ensuring alignment with client messaging and branding guidelines. 3. Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather information and insights for content creation. Campaign Execution and Management: 1. Execute PR campaigns from conception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. 2. Coordinate logistics for events, press conferences, and media tours, including venue selection, invitation management, and on-site coordination. 3. Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to clients for evaluation and future planning. Digital and Social Media Engagement: 1. Leverage digital and social media platforms to amplify PR efforts and engage with target audiences. 2. Develop and implement social media strategies that align with PR campaigns and client objectives. 3. Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities to engage with followers and influencers. Client Reporting and Relationship Management: 1. Prepare and present regular reports on PR activities, results, and ROI to clients. 2. Proactively identify opportunities to expand services and grow client relationships. 3. Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, creatives, and digital specialists, to ensure client needs are met and campaigns are integrated. Industry Research and Insights: 1. Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform PR strategies. 2. Stay updated on best practices and innovations in PR, sharing insights and recommendations with clients and internal teams. 3. Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
