- provides Market Analysis for respective territory- Product Life Cycle Management Pricing Advocacy - Forecasting & Reporting - Business Control Product Line development through Education, Communication, and Sales Support. Facilitates communication between regional GTM Teams and Category Organizations.
- Plans, directs, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities for the territory in line with the overall ACS Strategy. Has a high degree of skill in closing hi-tech deals and has customer/ channel facing skills to influence customer/ partner organizations.
- Directs the overall category management operations in assigned area of responsibilities within the territory.
- Plans Category management programs to achieve business objectives established primarily by the category management
- Supports the achievement of overlay revenue and expense objectives within assigned area.
- May also manage other functions in addition to Category Management e.g., Technical Consulting, Marketing, etc
- Has minimum 10 years sales management experience in IT, Hardware , Networking, Cloud or related areas
- Demonstrated success in the management of marketing and sales support programs on global basis.
- Regularly makes independent decisions of a strategic nature.
- Capable of taking strategic risks that visibly impact the company's financial well- being.
- Prior management experience.
- Direct experience as referenced above.
- Prior sales AND marketing AND directly related management experience.
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field.
