Lenovo ThinkSystem XCC is to monitor, control and manage Lenovo ThinkSystem products. An attractive position is now available for talented engineer with the opportunity working with the x86 and ARM, cutting-edge technology and its firmware development. The role will be responsible for the Server BMC firmware development and maintenance of the new for ThinkSystem products, together with providing for the WW customer in General Purpose Team.Role:
  • BMC platform development responsible for requirements definition, design, implementation, and documentation of the platform.
Required Qualifications:
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar degree or related software equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on software development in C and C++
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Knowledge of Software development processes, working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multi-functional teams.
Proficient Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Strong analytical and debug methodology skills expected.
  • Proficient at recognizing complex problems related to functional objectives.
  • Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.
  • Analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures, or processes.
  • Capable of controlling work priorities and methods requiring trade-offs.
  • Provides advice in technical/operational domain of specialization.
  • Ability to apply discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance to Lenovo.
