Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
Oversee the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline supply chain processes and resolve any logistical issues
Develop and implement strategies to enhance logistical operations, such as route optimization and inventory management
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to transportation and logistics
Utilize logistics IT systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyze data to make informed decisions
Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to drive performance and productivity
Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement
Contribute to the development of logistical policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold industry standards

Qualifications: Experience

7-12 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within the Natural Resources industry
Demonstrated track record of successfully coordinating and optimizing logistical operations
Proven experience in managing complex transportation and warehousing requirements

Education Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
