General responsibilitiesIn the role of Indirect Tax Lead/Manager, you will be a part of "in-house" JBS organization to follow up with:Manage JBS VAT process accordingly to the design with the JLL standards and proceduresMaintain VAT risk analytics, policies, processes & systems ensuring compliance with EMEA regulationsManage the JBS analytical team to deliver the VAT returns with quality on deadlinesDay to day VAT compliance activities team performance assistance to achieve the VAT returns submissionTR-ONESOURCE process steps follow up for the EMEA user during tax return preparationResponsible for delivery of EMEA VAT compliance submissions and payments in line with set deadlinesManagement of EMEA VAT enquiries and proactively work with EU JBS Tax Dept on responsesInitiate and drives efforts to streamline or improve processes, TR tools and compliance reportingBuild KPI metrics to measure the quality and timeline of the compliance processMonthly meetings with key stakeholders to share the EMEA VAT process performance and improvementsAnalyse and agree with Global Tax on the implementation of changes for EMEA VAT legislationIdentifies areas to improve the effectiveness of our VAT planning activitiesManage relationship with external VAT advisors during VAT return submission processCarry out ad hoc projects to work with Fin/Global Tax on business activities to manage VAT risksWork with Global Tax/Fin to manage the Tax Audits and continue positive relationship with EMEA VAT AuthoritiesOur requirementsMaster's Degree in Accounting/Taxation or Economics, Business Finance, ManagementWorking knowledge of European VAT rules with min 3-4 yearsExperience in staff management and supervising juniorsProject management skills, be able to prioritise and plan work to meet deadlinesMaintaining close relationship close with Managers and Senior ManagerEuropean time zone availability (process based in Europe)Very good English and good at other European languages (advantage German, French, Spanish)Good working knowledge of Word and MS Outlook, ExcelImprovement and timeline delivery focusAnalytical and problem solving skills, strong communication skillsMotivation, passion, enthusiasm to perform at highest standardsLocation:On-site –Gurugram, HRIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
