Employee CommunicationsGeneral Summary:We are looking for well-rounded, seasoned communication professional to join Qualcomm’s award-winning Employee Communications team. The successful candidate will also be comfortable interacting with leadership, working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and will be equally effective working autonomously or as part of a team.In this role you’ll help inform, connect, engage, and inspire our global workforce through impactful and creative messaging, events, and programs. Utilizing various channels and digital tools, you’ll drive employees’ understanding of our technology, strategy, and organization, and foster connections between employees, leaders, and the community. You’ll also help build company pride by showcasing our impact on the industry and people’s lives.The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, proven expertise in developing organizational communications plans and materials, and experience contributing to/managing intranets and collaboration tools such as Yammer and Microsoft Teams.Key job responsibilities:· Create and edit compelling, impactful, clear, and succinct messaging for various mediums, including email messages, presentations, video scripts, FAQs,leadership talking points, news articles and newsletters, and intranet content.· Develop and implement internal communication plans that: promote understanding of company purpose, priorities, and key initiatives; address unique stakeholder groups; support organizational change and other change management initiatives; foster employee connections to the business, leaders, and each other.· Serve as a strategic business partner and provide counsel to functional and business teams and leaders on internal communications.· Provide support for multiple projects, serves as member of different project teams simultaneously, and/or leads project teams.Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of Employee Communications or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 9+ years of Employee Communications or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 11+ years of Employee Communications or related work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 8+ years of work experience in Employee Communications.
- 2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
- 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Director level and above).
