Title: Software Engineer II - .NET Microservices What You'll Do Duck Creek's products are designed for cloud native true SaaS architecture and have a complex architecture that spans multiple layers of code and functionality. All products are deployed on Azure cloud platform and use several Azure cloud services. We do complete end-to-end automated testing and also automate the end-to-end build to production deployment CI/CD processes. We are building a future forward Duck Creek platform that will serve as the foundation for all the products, and will provide multiple services that other products will use. The platform will include infrastructure, data, and various other services that will be required by all the products. Joining our team means diving into the heart of technological advancement. You will play a pivotal role in developing the CI/CD and cloud configuration platform that drives Duck Creek's entire product lineup. Your focus will revolve around enhancing the Duck Creek platform, crafting cloud-native components and microservices to streamline provisioning and deployment of product applications. You will be utilizing a diverse range of technologies. From designing Terraform modules to automate cloud provisioning to implementing CI/CD automation and post-production monitoring, your expertise will shape the future of insurance technology. What You've Done We're looking for candidates with a degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of 12 years of experience, with a strong focus on cloud native architectures and cloud automation for at least 6 years. The ideal candidate should be a natural leader, be strongly opinionated about cloud architectures, and should have been in a similar role before. Knowledge And Skills Required Expert of scalable, resilient, modern, cloud automation with Terraform Expert in cloud architecture patters such as Load Balancer, API Management and Network routing Experience in Cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures, including Serverless Experience with Azure cloud platform and its various services Expert in CI/CD technologies to deliver software to customers with full automation Expert in Kubernetes and Docker Experience building monitoring, alerting, and observability for maintaining high customer SLAs for SaaS delivered products Experience providing cloud solutions to allow decomposing monolithic applications into microservices Ability to lead, teach, and guide modern software-development practices across Product Development, operating independently with guidance What We Stand For Our global company celebrates & leverages the differences each employee brings to the table.
