Established in 1874, we have grown to become the world leader in mining and civil blasting with a diverse of team of more than 13,000 across the world.It's an exciting time to join us - we are shaping the future of mining through digital and automated technologies, embracing new ways of thinking, pioneering innovation and reimagining the way we work.About the roleThe Team Lead is an onsite Orica team position who manages plant and ancillary equipment in accordance with the service level agreement, corporate and regulatory standards and supervises the implementation of the Orica SHES requirements, as well as complete adoption of CHECKPOINT, and Quality programs.What you will be doing

Supporting the Project Manager and Site Supervisors to motivate onsite teams, to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services on our customer site.
Developing mutually beneficial relationships with key Customer personnel.
Managing all operational aspects of your team including recruitment, rosters, leave, performance reviews, coaching, training, vendors invoice clearance, PTW.
Scheduling the onsite team's daily activities to meet customer requirements and ensuring proper management of site including raw material ordering and preventative maintenance.
Monitor the legal requirements of license and comply on time.
FSSS functioning for invoicing and maintenance planning by SWM is efficient manner.
Assists in preparation of fixed cost budgets, capital expenditures, staffing, equipment requirements, and an updated Resource Model. Analyses site inventories to minimize product quantities and improve site profitability through stock rotation and management.

What you will bring

Minimum 5 years of experience post qualification
Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience as a team leader or people manager would be highly regarded.

Responsible for day-to-day reporting.
Experience leading a team, including building a collaborative approach.

Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
