Overview Global Network Security Engineering is part of the Core Infrastructure - Global Network Services organisation and responsible for providing global solutions to control internal and external network-based threats to Deutsche Bank s IT Infrastructure. The Senior Network Security Engineer contributes to the delivery of standards and deployments of new network security designs, establishes best practices, and supports operational challenges or critical issues. He partners with other Senior Architecture leaders to align Security, Enterprises, Domain and Solution architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Security Engineer is responsible to identify solutions which reduces network security risks identified by the Chief Information Security Office, Internal Audit or Regulators. He or she works together with the Network Deployment and Operations teams to engineer enterprise solutions which can be easily deployed and operated with automation as a priority. The Lead Engineer is responsible to test and document the network security solutions before handing them over for Implementation. He is responsible for Architecture, Design, Governance and continues Updates of external connectivity models, e.g. Ecommerce, Extranet, Exchange Connectivity, Cloud Connectivity Responsible for the network infrastructure including life cycle management. Analysis and benchmarking of Network Security products. firewalls and proxy systems, etc. Actively supports the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture. Takes ownership for projects and leads.Skills & Qualifications Expert level Firewall Engineering based on Fortinet Expert level Router/Switch Platform Engineering for Network Devices (Extreme/Cisco/Arista) Nice to have Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation desirable (1.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (2.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (3.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans. (4.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (5.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (6.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives.
