- Lead and manage research and development of new and existing products and components- from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, production and product management, to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Design, develop, and implement innovative solutions, prototypes, and proof-of-concept models based on project requirements.
- Create detailed drawings for designs including General Assemblies.
- Create and manage BOM (Bill of Material) data for all Designed, Produced and Assembled items.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to determine the viability and scalability of proposed solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans, experiments, and validation protocols to assess the performance and reliability of developed prototypes.
- Level 8 Degree in Mechanical, Energy or Building Services Engineering would be ideal.
- 3+ years Mechanical Engineering Design experience.
- Hands on approach to designing and fabrication.
- Good knowledge of a high-end 3D and 2D CAD systems, Ideally SolidWorks and AutoCAD or similar.
