With this position we offer: Nasdaq Real-Time Clearing (NRTC): Nasdaq Real-Time Clearing Technology helps clearing houses meet the ever-increasing demands of the post-trade value chain with integrated position keeping, real-time risk and collateral management, as well as settlement, across markets. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will work within a highly skilled and expert product engineering team. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions. Your role and responsibilities: You will belong to a multi-functional scrum team consisting of business analysts, software engineers, and test engineers. You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle, from design, implementation, and testing to release & deployment to supervising & solving to maintenance & enhancements. Your focus is to develop new features and enablers for a product with high quality, performance, and resiliency demands. We work in close partnership with our clients all over the world. Developers do a wide range of activities: feature development (implement customer-specific requirements), non-functional enhancements (SLA implementation, cloud adaptation, etc.), and developer productivity improvements (template-driven code generation, model-driven code generation, Docker/Podman, etc.). Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries. Furthermore, you will: Design and develop new complex functionality and maintain the existing codebase Write automated tests for functionalities (we aim for 100% test automation) Perform peer reviews, demos, and regression testing Contribute your experience and recommendations to sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos. We expect you to have: 7+ years of work experience developing Java 11+, Spring Framework, Java EE, REST, SOAP, CDI, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC. Should have experience in Dependency Injection, REST/SOAP Web Services. Solid experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL DBMS Experienced in SQL, GitLab, Maven, Object-Relational Mapping. Good Understanding of Wildfly/RedHat EAP, Message Oriented Middleware (e.g., ActiveMQ) Experience in JIRA, TeamCity. Experience with Cloud / AWS / Docker / Kubernetes / Terraform/ CICD. Experience with ReactiveX, Swagger /OpenAPI, React/Redux, Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, SQL, Relational Databases, Dependency Injection. If you genuinely understand and know how to explain the S.O.L.I.D. principles Previous experience working with development tools and concepts such as Git and continuous integration/delivery. Eagerness to drive the evolution of our products forwards with ideas, designs and implementations. Passion for building great products and writing clean and beautiful code. Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style, a desire to contribute what you already know, educate the people around you, and bravely dive into new territories. Excellent at communicating in English, both in writing and verbally.
