Responsibilities Visual Development: Collaborate with game designers and developers to create visually stunning and immersive environments using Unreal Engine. Implement and optimize assets, materials, and lighting to achieve the desired visual quality and performance. Artistic Collaboration Work closely with concept artists and art directors to bring concept art and designs into the game engine. Collaborate with the development team to ensure that artistic elements align with technical requirements and constraints. 3D Modeling And Texturing Create and optimize 3D models and textures for use in the game environment. Implement PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials to achieve realistic and visually appealing surfaces. Animation Integration Integrate character animations, including rigging and skinning, into the game engine. Collaborate with animators to ensure smooth and realistic character movements and interactions. Technical Problem Solving Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art assets and their integration into the Unreal Engine. Optimize art assets for performance across various platforms. Documentation: Document and communicate best practices for asset creation and integration. Create and maintain documentation related to art assets, workflows, and technical processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Game Design, or a related field. Proven experience as an Unreal Developer Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects. Proficient in 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter). Expertise in using Unreal Engine for game development, including Blueprints and material creation. Strong understanding of lighting, shading, and rendering techniques. Experience with character animation and rigging is a plus. Solid problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
