- Controls all project/engineering activities for new business and engineering changes for existing products.
- Understanding of Industrial Automation Product in general. (PLC, HMI, VFD And Motion Controller). Responsible for Application Development and Support for machine at OEM
- Coordinates activities of engineers to ensure adherence to timelines.
- Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment.
- Experience with robotics, AI, and machine learning in project management
- Ensures all proper documentation and standard engineering processes are followed.
- Ensures engineering is proactive and responsive to the needs of the plant production lines.
- Works to minimize and maintain engineering costs in the plant.
- Interfaces with customers to communicate problems and solutions while maintaining a high standard of quality and Responsible for all customer-specific requirements those referenced in the QMS manuals.
- Manufacturing feasibility study for new product requirements in existing facilities.
- Prepare a process plan with equipment requirements and validate the same with the equipment team.
- New product planning - Facility, tools, gauges and fixtures, procurement, and implementation Study to Sweat existing equipment to maximum.
- Manages special projects.
- Assess, train, and develop subordinates.
- Frequent communication with all levels of management, corporate support groups, Quality Assurance, and plant personnel.
- Responsible for related safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
