Job Title: Senior Network Engineer Job type- 12 months Contract Location- onsite in Bangalore or Gurgaon Time -7:30 pm IST and may be rotational shifts Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field; equivalent related professional experience also accepted 4+ years of experience in network engineering Relevant certification (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, AWS Associate, AWS Network Specialty) Software defined network experience Expert-level certifications a plus Network scripting background using languages such as Python and JavaScript Intermediate to Expert skills in routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, MPBGP, ISIS, MPLS) Understands physical and virtual network technologies and how they interoperate Intermediate knowledge of models used to show network state and for configuration (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX, Netconf, Restconf, gRPC) Is familiar with using the best model for given technologies to visualize network behavior and performance Proficient in configuring enterprise or service provider grade network hardware Experienced in configuring, operating, and automating cloud IaaS networks (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Identifies strengths and weaknesses among languages for particular use cases Experience reviewing system configuration settings/policies Proficiency working with third party vendors and technologies Ability to review and improve processes and procedures Experience working in operational environments following ITIL, industry standards, frameworks, and reference architectures Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and handle competing and conflicting priorities Good interpersonal skills in both verbal and written Ability to work overtime to include nights and weekends
